Meet and Greet
in Cairns and share the guidelines and procedures of the tour

We then travel
north to the Daintree Ferry and the Bloomfield Track
through Wujal Wujal, finishing the day at the Lions Den
Hotel. There we celebrate with a Welcome Dinner.

We visit Cooktown, visiting various historic sites including Grassy Hill, where Captain Cook surveyed The Great
Barrier Reef for a safe passage.

After leaving
Cooktown, we visit
the Old Laura Homestead
and Lakefield National Park, ending the day at Musgrave Roadhouse Campground.

Next travel to the Weipa
Camping Grounds, before
visiting the nearby
Western Cape Cultural Centre  and
go on the Sunset Eco Tour.

There is a free day to explore
around Weipa area or do a pre-booked optional Fishing Charter, do some shopping, or just relax in the
beautiful surroundings of the Campgrounds.

Travel to Bramwell Tourist
Park where we provide an excellent
evening meal prepared by the Station’s chef and enjoy the entertainment.

We travel the northern part of the Southern Section
of The Old Telegraph Track
via Heathland Ranger Station and view Gunshot, before heading north towards
Cockatoo Creek and camping along the Track.

Travel to the iconic
Fruit Bat Falls,
Elliott Falls and Twin Falls,
where there is time for a swim and look around the area. Camp the
night at Twin Fallls.

In  the Northern Peninsula
Area we stay at one of the Campgrounds at Seisia, Loyalty
Beach or Punsland
Bay.

We visit for
Pajinka “The Tip”, where we gather for a group
photo. We share some of the
endigenous and European history of the area(NPA) and its local historic sites, such as WWII and historic
settlement sites.

There is time to do as you wish.
Optional activities:

and/or Horn Island,
visit Rokko Island (need to book in advance)

explore more of the NPA.

get a Fishing
Charter (need to book in
advance)

•       
Shopping (IGA, art galleries, souveniours)

•       
just go for walk down the beach.
Be croc and shark safe.

Travel south  starts to Moreton Telegraph Station
before entering Frenchmans Track from the Western
entry and travel east – Camp Along
the Track before reaching Lockhart River area and visit Chilli
Beach. Stay at a nearby Campground and enjoy the local fresh-caught seafood
when available. Learn about Lockhart and Iron Range
National Park while there.

We also visit Split Rock to view some world-renowned Aboriginal Rock Art, on our way
to Chillagoe. This is where we tour a private
Observatory in the evening to
gaze at the southern sky. (except during full moon phase)

Tour the magnificent Chillagoe Limestone Caves by NPS Guided Tour and view the Historic Smelter Works Ruins, and other
sites as time allows.









































The finale of the Tour includes tastings of fruit wines, liquors,
whiskeys and local coffee tastings. And a Farewell Dinner to celebrate and
reminisce about the whole Tour. We camp close by and say our goodbyes in the mornings.…
